Chiara Perano
Chiara Perano (b. 1985) is an English-Italian artist based in East Sussex. She studied at University of the Arts, London. She creates her paintings on canvas, works on paper, limited edition prints and also paints murals. Her work uses dreamy tones and symbols, natural brushwork and explores floral and celestial shapes, nature, light, and our connection to the Earth and the moon. Taking a holistic approach to creating art, Chiara makes her own pigments, and depicts landscapes, flowers and female forms in almost ethereal scenes. Growing up between England and Italy, her work and colours revolve around her dual heritage, La Dolce Vita, the simple everyday life, and the imperfect beauty of our planet and skies.
In 2020 she created an exclusive collection for Liberty London which quickly sold out, and her ‘Peace’ painting for the war in Ukraine raised £20,000 for DEC and Choose Love charities. Recent shows include a solo show at Amie in London, and ongoing shows at Mylo in Stockbridge. Chiara has worked with many prestigious brands, counting Net a Porter, Mulberry, The Berkeley Hotel, Anthropologie, and interior designers in her extensive client list.
